Try-on appointments
• Try-ons are only available at store location, Semaphore 5019.
• After booking an appointment, please message with what you would like to try on and your event date.
• Try-on appointments are free to book, however a cancellation fee applies.
• All cancellations must occur at least 24 hours before your appointment time. A cancellation fee of $15 will apply to those cancelling within 24 hours of their appointment. This is stated when booking.
• If you book in a hire, this fee can be waived. If you reschedule your appointment, this fee can also be waived. Cancellation of a rescheduled appointment will result in the fee applying.
• Unwashed tan or one-day tan is not to be worn to try-on appointments.
• Please wear minimal makeup or none. A cleaning fee may apply.
Deposits
• A non-refundable $30 deposit is required if wanting to book in advance. This is only necessary if you wish to secure a hire for a specific date and/or event.
• This deposit is not refunded if cancelled or for change of mind. It purely holds the hire for your event. However, this deposit is deducted from the total hire price.
• You are welcome to place multiple deposits on different hire items. One deposit per item is required. If one item is cancelled, the deposit is not refundable or redeemable towards another hire.
• Note: Nothing will be held without payment. First in, best dressed. This includes try-on appointments — items are not held for try-ons.
• You may try on and risk the item being booked (not always the case), or you are always welcome to DM and directly book and secure a hire.
Payment
• Bank transfer or Square (1.9% surcharge) is accepted in store. Cash is always accepted.
• Once payment is made, there is a strict no refund policy for change of mind, sizing issues, or cancellation.
• Exchanges may be made for the same or higher value item, subject to availability. Please note that the later in the week you organise an exchange, it may not be possible.
• For pre-bookings (where a $30 deposit has been paid), a minimum of 10 days notice is required for change of mind or cancellation. If this notice is not provided, the deposit will be kept plus 50% of the hire price.
• If paid in full, a credit may be issued at our discretion.
• Payment must be made before pick-up or after the try-on appointment via cash, bank transfer, or Square.
• Each hire piece may only be worn once per payment unless paid for again.
Returns
• Saturday and Sunday hires must be dropped back by Monday at the latest, unless otherwise discussed.
• Weekday hires must be returned the day after the event date, unless otherwise discussed.
• A strict late fee of $22 per day (GST included) applies for all late returns.
• Please do not wash the hire item. Simply return it after wearing in the hire bag provided.
• Please notify us of any extreme staining, damage, or issues. Fees will apply if damage occurs to a self-cleaned item.
Damages and/or repairs
• All damage or non-repairable hires must be paid at full RRP by the hiree. The hiree agrees to these terms when hiring from RMN.HIRE, as stated in our bio.
• Repairable damage such as rips, tears, rehemming, extra dry cleaning, or broken zips must be paid by the hiree. Costs generally range from $5–$40 depending on the issue. This also applies to damage caused during try-ons.
• Do not wear fresh unwashed tan, one-day tan, or gradual tan or moisturiser when wearing our hire items. Fake tan may be worn if washed off at least 24 hours prior. A cleaning fee may apply.
• If you hire a longer dress, please be mindful and avoid dirtying the hem. This type of staining is difficult to remove and cleaning or rehemming fees may apply.
• Anything beyond a simple hand wash, including wine stains, dirt, mud, or items requiring soaking, will incur a cleaning fee.
Postage
• Express postage is a flat fee of $35 and includes a return satchel with your hire.
• All pre-planned postal hires for Friday–Sunday events will be sent express on the Monday of the event week.
• Mid-week postal hires are accepted — please message to arrange postage date.
• All postal hires must be returned via the post office by Monday morning (1pm latest). The parcel must be handed over the counter and a tracking receipt obtained.
• Do not place return parcels in street post boxes.
• Postage is at the hiree’s risk. If a parcel is lost or misplaced, full RRP will be payable by the hiree.
• If the parcel does not arrive in time for the event, no refunds will be provided. A credit note may be issued for the hire cost only. Postage fees are non-refundable and non-creditable.
• We do not ship to New Zealand or internationally.
Credit notes / vouchers
• Any credit note issued must be used within 3 months of issue.
